McDonald’s and the NFL recently combined forces, with the popular fast food chain becoming the official restaurant sponsor of the NFL along with the presenting sponsor of the 2013 Pro Bowl in Hawaii.
As the league’s new official restaurant sponsor, McDonald’s will be allowed to feature the NFL shield and use of all 32 team logos in marketing and advertising endeavors.
The sports sponsorship begins this December with Chicken McNugget Pro Bowl Promotion at McDonald’s restaurants around the nation. Up to 20 customers who purchase 20-piece Chicken McNuggets will receive travel for two to Hawaii for Pro Bowl festivities, including airfare, accommodations, tailgates, and two tickets to the upcoming 2013 Pro Bowl.
Followers of McDonald’s twitter account who also utilize the hashtag, #McDProBowl, will also have a chance to win a pair of tickets by December 18, 2012.
