Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks has only been in the NFL for two years, but has already established himself as one of the league’s biggest trash talkers.
Last month, Sherman took to Twitter for a jab at Darrelle Revis of the New York Jets, who has established himself as an elite cornerback.
The two went back and forth on Twitter in one of the best recent feuds.

Today, Revis responded to Sherman’s tweet, launching a Twitter war between the two cornerbacks.
I never seen a man before run his mouth so much like girl. This dude just steady putting my name in his mouth to get notoriety @rsherman_25

Sherman, who fired the initial shot, promptly responded as soon as he landed from his flight today.
Got off my flight to this hilarious convo. So I have 8 picks 3 ff and a sack.My season stats looking like Revis career stats

The tweets between the two players went back and forth for a couple of hours before Sherman signed off with a tweet thanking both Jets and Seahawks fans for chatting. Revis’ final tweet sarcastically commented on getting Sherman 6,000 new followers as a result of the trash talk exchange.
The offseason can be slow for players, and also provides an opportunity for outspoken players like Sherman and Revis to voice there minds and provide the fans with some entertainment. You can see all the tweets from the exchange from Sherman and Revis on their timelines
